WTDirect, a division of Wilmington Trust FSB, is offering a high yield savings account rate of 1.76%APY. There are no fees, no minimum deposit to open the account and no checking account required in order to get the high rate.
The high yield savings account rate offered by the bank applies regardless of your account balance during the first 60 days (2 months) after the account is opened. Thereafter, the high yield savings account rate applies only to accounts with balances of $10,000 or more. In other words, if your account balance is below $10,000 you will earn a lower rate. WTDirect will give you a maximum of two months to try them out while you build your balance and at the same time earn an interest.
WTDirect is FDIC insured and so your money is protected up to the maximum amount allowed by law.
