First State Bank based in Texas is offering a reward checking, its newest personal checking account. The reward checking offered acts like a traditional checking account that provides rewards with competitive rates that are dependent on account balance.

For example, interested customers will earn 2.53%APY on balances of up to $100,000. Balances of over $100,000 gets 1.00%APY and a standard rate of 0.25% on all balances.

The rewards are in the form of interest payments, free ATM use as First State Bank will reimburse ATM fees charged in your account by other banks and free Debit Mastercard.
