hysr Washington Trust Bank is offering a $50 checking account bonus to those who refer a friend to Washington Trust. The deal is, you and your friend will each get the $50 checking account bonus when that friend you referred opens a new checking account and uses the Washington Trust Bank debit card.
This referral opportunity is available to existing Washington Trust Bank customers who refer a non-Washington Trust Bank customer. Friend referred must must be 18 years of age or over.
If you are an existing customer who wants to refer a friend, you need to fill out the customer referral form. The friend referred must in turn bring this form in when they open their new checking account. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer.
Please note the following usage requirements of the bank before grabbing this offer:
New customer(s) must make at least one (1) of the following electronic transactions:
1) online bill pay
2) have a minimum of one (1) direct deposit or automated transaction on your checking account within 45
days of account opening, or use your debit card a minimum of one (1) time, within the first 45 days of account opening.
Debit card transactions can be point of sale with PIN, or signature based transactions. New accounts will be reviewed
one (1) full calendar month after opening and the $50 will be credited to your checking account within two (2) calendar months of account opening upon meeting usage requirements. $50 will be credited to existing customers primary deposit account (excludes Certificates of Deposit). Customers that open a new business account will be credited $50 into a savings or money market account. Customers without a deposit account will be issued a $50 check.
