AIG Bank high yield money market account at 1.75%APY

AIG Bank offers a high yield money market account. APYs offered depends on amount of investment.

Here are what appears on its rate sheet updated October 22, 2009.

  1. 1.10% APY for account balance $2,500 – $9,999
  2. 1.51% APY for account balance $10,000 – $49,999
  3. 1.60%APY for account balance $50,000 – $99,999
  4. 1.65%APY for account balance $100,000 – $249,999
  5. 1.75%APY for account balance $250,000 or more

AIG Bank high yield money market account is covered with FDIC insurance.

Refer a friend to Washington Trust Bank and get $50 checking account bonus

Washington Trust Bank is offering a $50 checking account bonus to those who refer a friend to Washington Trust. The deal is, you and your friend will each get the $50 checking account bonus when that friend you referred opens a new checking account and uses the Washington Trust Bank debit card.

This referral opportunity is available to existing Washington Trust Bank customers who refer a non-Washington Trust Bank customer. Friend referred must must be 18 years of age or over.

If you are an existing customer who wants to refer a friend, you need to fill out the customer referral form. The friend referred must in turn bring this form in when they open their new checking account. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer.

FME Federal Credit Union Direct Deposit High Yield 2.25%APY

FME Federal Credit Union offers a Direct Deposit High Yield, the highest interest savings account of the credit union that lets you earn 2.25%APY and a dividend rate of 2.25%. While there is no minimum balance requirement, only funds from Direct Deposit can be deposited to the Direct Deposit High Yield account. You will receive the 2.25%APY on all funds directly deposited into this highest interest savings account for amounts up to $15,000. Deposits exceeding $15,000 will earn regular share savings rate.

You will not be paid any dividend if you close your Direct Deposit High Yield account before January 1, 2010.
