hysr Independent Bank, which has 12 locations in Texas, is offering a RealSaver Account, a high interest rate savings account, at 2.50%APY. This APY applies for balances less than $25,001. Balances of $25,000 and above earn 1.00%APY.
Interested Texas residents can open an Independent REALSaver Account with a minimum opening amount of $150.
Another interesting offer Independent Bank has is its 11 month certificate of deposit. Its current offer is at 1.65%APY. You need to have at least $1,000 to take advantage of this APY. The bank also offers a 180 day certificate of deposit which currently is at 1.25%APY. Also, requires $1,000 minimum balance.
