Are you good at networking? If you need extra cash then use your networking skill. You could get up to $125 by just referring customers to Chase. However, be sure you are comfortable referring customers to Chase. If you don’t feel comfortable referring a friend then forget about making extra bucks.
If you don’t want to refer a friend but still wants to earn extra money, you could also earn $125 by opening a Chase checking account. This is different from the refer a friend bonus that was previously mentioned. This is another free money that Chase is giving out to new customers who opens up a new checking account with them. But, here is the catch before you get that $125 bonus:
1. You need to open up a new Chase checking account;
2. You must make at least $100 opening deposit within 60 days of account opening, which must be new money or money not held by Chase; and
3. You must set up a direct deposit within 60 days of account opening.
If you accomplish the above requirements, that’s the time you receive your $125 bonus. Note that this offer expires October 7, 2011 so if you want to avail of this checking promotion by Chase then you better hurry.
Also, there is another thing that you should take into consideration before opening a Chase checking account. If you don’t like paying a monthly service fee then a Chase checking account is not right for you since a Chase checking account eligible for this bonus have monthly service fee or monthly maintenance fee that starts $10-$15 and can be different by market condition. But there are ways you can avoid this fee. All you need to do is check with a banker how to avoid paying a monthly service fee when you open a checking account with them.
This offer is not available to existing customers of Chase and the bonus cannot be used as the opening deposit. Bonus will be credited to your new checking account within 10 days of receiving your first direct deposit. Avoid closing your account within 90 days because if you do you will be charged an account closing fee of $25.
